Since 1978, ALBWARDY MARINE ENGINEERING has been providing a complete package of professional Ship Repair, Ship building & Marine Engineering, from our fully equipped shipyard in Dubai, workshops in Fujairah & Salalah (Oman). Our core activities include:
Dry Dock & Repairs - Blasting, Painting, Hull steel repair/renewal, engine overhaul, pump & valve maintenance. Repair of shafts (ABS/LR approved), propellers & rudders. We drydock approx 6 vessels per month.
Afloat Repairs - All UAE ports/anchorages. Riding squads meet customers repair requirements on worldwide voyages.
Machine Shop - Modern machine tools, including large horizontal & vertical boring machines. Dynamic balancing of rotating machinery.
Electrical services - Rewinding of motors/generators upto 1800kVA & repair of all electrical equipment.
Hydraulic services - Maintenance of ALL shipboard hydraulic & associated systems viz Deck machinery, cargo, ballast sys & crane hydraulics.
Albwardy Diving Services - Based in Fujairah, outfitted with the latest equipment for underwater hull cleaning & propeller polishing, underwater hull inspection & class approval surveys & under water blanking & welding.
Albwardy Shipping Agency - Based in Dubai & Fujairah, registered for activities in Fujairah, Shindagah, Port Rashid & Jebel Ali.One stop shop for ship repairs & agency requirements. Operates a fleet of crew/utility boats for charter to supply stores & crew change.
Offshore Support - Experienced teams for FSU / FPSO maintenance.
New Building - The company presently has a total of 20 workboats and dredgers of various sizes under construction.
The company employs approx 900 people.
